Heath Black (former AFL star) has been in Rockingham to talk about his new book. As many mothers, wives and girlfriends can attest, men’s mental health is a sadly neglected topic.
Women are often the ones left to deal with its fallout, including men’s habit of hardship in admitting there is a problem while medicating their pain with alcohol and/or drugs.
Breaking down the barriers to owning a mental health problem and to gaining support is never easy but it starts with one thing – talking about it.
