Growing and Developing Healthy Relationships PD has a definite and positive impact on teacher willingness and effectiveness as educators in this (relationships and sexuality education) area. (Taken from Estill & Associates Impact evaluation study of GDHR 2009 DoHWA)

In 2012 WA Health Education Services continues to provide face-to-face professional learning opportunities for school staff responsible for sexuality and relationships education using recent resources including Growing and Developing Healthy Relationships (GDHR) Years P-10. GDHR resources have been in all Government and Independent schools in WA since 2002 with WA Health Education Services providing dynamic and interactive relationships & sexuality education PD.

This learning opportunity supports the continuing development of educators' skills and understandings and, most importantly, confidence and competence in the use of the GDHR curriculum support materials.
